Giving the gift of a doula to a family in need is easy when you donate to the Green River Doula Network's Doula Stipend Program. 

Doulas care for pregnant and new parents and their partners as they experience some of the most important moments of their lives. The GRDN's Stipend Program provides access to doula care for low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford such support. We are committed to increasing access to high-quality doula care, regardless of ability to pay. Our program provides doula care at no cost to the client.

Here's what one stipend program client shared about the support that they received from their GRDN birth doula:

Why a stipend?:

Many experienced doulas want to support low-income families, but as working professionals they may not be able to volunteer their time and services in place of paid work. Our stipend Programs pay a small subsidy to experienced doulas, allowing them to offer their expertise and support to families in financial need. 

The Green River Doula Network is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is entirely volunteer-run. 100% of your donations go directly toward providing free doula support for families in need. This year we have a goal of raising $5000 for our birth and postpartum stipend programs. With $5000, we can provide doula support to twenty-four families in the coming year.
