Births (on volunteer basis): 3 prenatal visits, unlimited care during the birth, and 2 postpartum visits

Overnight postpartum/newborn care

I just completed both birth and postpartum doula trainings with Warm Welcome Birth Services, and I'm so so excited to be starting this work! I am a recent graduate from The New School in New York City, and I am coming to birth work with about 10 years of experience with child and baby care. As I gather experience and knowledge, I will be attending births on a volunteer basis! 

I never knew I would grow up to be a doula, in fact I have a degree in anthropology and urban studies! However, I believe something has always called me to this work. Birth is a moment in life when our truest selves come out, and the deepest connection with each other and ourselves is made possible. As a new doula, my number one goal is to create a space where birthing people and families can be as vulnerable and tenderly cared for as their new babies. I will forever be in awe of the birthing process, and I am incredibly honored that I get to do this work!
