My name is Isabel Stomberg-Jackson and I am a mother of three with a passion for pregnancy, birth and early postpartum care. My belief is that all people can and should experience a positive birth. Through the use of labor tools and techniques I work to help my clients achieve a calmer, more comfortable and empowered birth. My birth philosophy is that every birther should birth in a manner that best suits them as an individual, not by the "one size fits all" standard.

I hold strong beliefs in the importance of informed consent and help my clients with continued advocacy and support throughout pregnancy, their birthing time and postpartum. I offer my clients my friendship and my professionalism. I believe that such an intimate line of work requires both. I offer an open, nonjudgmental line of communication, regular meetings, my full support and honest opinions.

I happily work with all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, etc. I offer sliding scale and payment plans. I will attend births in Berkshire County, southern Vermont, the Pioneer Valley, the Albany area, and surrounding towns.  My current rate for birth doula services is $1,000 and my rate for placenta encapsulation is $300.
